Samuel Marshall Boyd, 86, of McMinnville, and a beloved native of Warren County, passed away peacefully at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Sept. 24, following a brief illness. Born on July 8, 1938, he lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. A lifelong farmer and a retired educator at Irving College Elementary, Mr. Boyd also served faithfully as an elder at Hebron Church of Christ. He carried a deep connection to his community, known for his quiet strength, humility, and generosity of spirit. His life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and dedication to family values.
