A lifetime of devotion to his creator, family, career and community came to an end Tuesday with the passing of Irving College icon Sam Boyd. Boyd, 86, passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Tuesday, ending a life dedicated to serving his church, family and the entire Warren County community.
