Headlines regarding shortages of the ADD/ADHD medication, Adderall, have been circulating in national news since last year but, in recent months, the situation is spreading to several other medications. Vital, life-saving drugs like insulin or Ozempic for diabetes as well as asthma medicine like albuterol are just a few on the list of dozens of items currently listed as being in short supply according to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Several injections, ambulance and emergency room supplies have made the list recently as well.
