McMinnville’s annual Christmas Parade was held Sunday, attracting 96 entries.

The participants braved the cold along with the hundreds of spectators. The parade was initially scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, but the rainy weather caused the parade to be postponed. The parade was at 3 p.m. on Sunday with temperatures in the 40s. The event was set to go on rain or shine, and thankfully the rain held off.

The parade's theme this year was “Snow Globe Christmas.” Many different variations of snow globes made their way down Main Street. Multiple floats even shot out their own snow.

The first-place float winner for the business category was Ben Lomand Connect with Legacy Gymnastics taking second. The first place church/civic group/community organization/large nonprofit was Central Church of Christ. Second place was Cub Scout Pack 888 and third place went to Spirit of Life Hope Church.

The first-place school sponsored winner was the Warren County Middle School Dance Team. Second place went to Warren County High School softball and third place went to Warren County Middle School sixth-grade cheer.

The first place small club/nonprofit went to Warren County Nurse Honor Guard. Second place went to Girl Scout Troop 839 and third place went to Silent Creed MC. The first place winner of the Horse Rider Club/mule or horse and hitch went to Layne Murphy.

The first-place winner of the antique car category was NHC McMinnville. Jeremy Jones won second place and Judge Ryan J. Moore won third place. The first-place winner of the most unusual vehicle category was Kim Bouldin. Charlotte Huff won second place and Gee Boy’s Truck Repair won third.

Following a vote on Facebook, the People's Choice award went to Legacy Gymnastics.
