Agnes Curtis Jones, 86, of Spencer, passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. Born on Aug. 15, 1938 in Brockdale, Tenn., she was a homemaker, a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Van Buren Historical Association and the Van Buren County Democratic Party. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lester Villar Curtis and Zella Audrey Carmack Curtis; her husband, William Stanley “Bill” Jones; and her daughter, Teresa Jones.
