Mr. Albert Richard Miller, 76, of McMinnville died Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at NHC McMinnville. He was born Jan. 1, 1947, in McMinnville, was a Christian, a former electronic service technician with Accu-Router, Inc. and was preceded in death by his parents, E. A. and Bonnie Ward Miller, Jr.; grandson, Coleman Miller; sister, Georgia Lois Tenpenny; brother, Jimmy Lee Miller; and former father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby William and Reba Jo Hill Newby. Mr. Miller served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his former wife, Denise Newby Miller; children, Alan (Angela) Miller, Philip Miller, Tyler (Arielle) Miller, Casey (April) Miller, Andy Miller and Newby Parton; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Crawford, Rachel, Gracie, Wyatt, Austin, Jackson and Shelby Miller; sisters, Janie Partin and Inas Howard; and brothers, Joe, Andy and Tommy Miller. Other family members and friends also survive.

Mr. Miller will be cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC and no immediate services are planned at this time.

Billy Wayne Stoner, 74

McMinnville resident and Athens, AL native Billy Wayne Stoner, age 74, was born May 24, 1950 and died suddenly on March 11, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.

A retired employee of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas and a member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late Grover and Dorothy Stoner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Stoner, Wendell (Sarah) Stoner and Jerry Stoner.

Mr. Stoner loved to golf, fish and go camping. He loved his family and always put them first.

He was married to Linda Stoner of McMinnville on Jan. 6, 1970. In addition to his wife, Mr. Stoner is survived by two children, Terry (Tami) Stoner and Tammy Stoner (Dana Crouch), both of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Tyler (Whitney) Stoner, Caitlin (Austin) Orman, Heather Moats and Brooklyn (John) Rigsby; two great-grandsons, Ryker Rigsby and Rowen Rigsby; three brothers, Bobby Stoner, Mike Stoner and Kenneth Stoner, all of McMinnville; two sisters, Marie (Louie) Mason of McMinnville and Doris (Bob) Asbury of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law, Jannette Stoner and Connie Stoner.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Paul Cunningham and Johnny Haston to officiate. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Monday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
