April Diann Mickelsen passed away in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Aug. 24 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 68. She was a resident of McMinnville for many years and just recently moved to Conway, S.C. She was born in McKeesport, Pa., on June 3, 1950. April is predeceased by her son, Warren Mickelsen, brother Daymon Ghrist, and sister Dawn Nunley.
