Bobby Shane Thomas, 55, a Morrison resident and Cannon County native, was born Oct. 3, 1964 and passed July 1 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was a self-employed truck driver, and the son of Freda Womack and the late Bobby Lee Thomas. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Olivia and Lydia Campbell.
He was married to Cynthia Lynn Rackley Thomas of Morrison. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children, Tara (Dale) Campbell of McMinnville, Ryan Thomas, Jace Thomas and Nick McCormick, all of Morrison, six grandchildren, Wesley Bell, Jacob Bell, Sadie Bell, Sophie Campbell, Dustin Thomas and Braelyn Haley, two brothers Steven Thomas and Stanley Thomas of McMinnville, father-in-law Carl Rackley of McMinnville, sisters-in-law Sharon (Edward) Lawson of Rock Island, and Pam (Chris) Cooper of McMinnville, brother-in-law Devin (Jackie) Rackley of McMinnville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, in High’s Chapel with Johnny Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
