McMinnville resident and Lincoln, NE native Bryan Allen Mason, age 74, was born Nov. 11, 1950 and died March 30, 2025 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.

A United States Army veteran of Vietnam and self-employed carpenter, he was the son of Kenneth Mason, Sr. of McMinnville and the late Evelyn Wilson Mason. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by brother, Mark Mason.

Mr. Mason’s hobbies included collecting hot wheels cars and watching westerns but could often be found in his recliner with his word search books. His favorite thing in life was spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith and a Bible believer.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Debbie Mason of McMinnville; daughter, Ami Mason of McMinnville; son, Allen Mason of McMinnville; grandsons, Daniel (Crystal) Young of Sparta and Dustin (Matthew) Fults of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Charlee, Marshall and Declan Young; brothers, Kenneth (Teela) Mason, Vernon Mason, Robbie (Rhonda) Mason and Russell Mason all of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Jim DeRopp and Ronnie Preston.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Poplar Springs Cemetery at 435 Old Poplar Springs Rd., Kingston, TN 37763. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at High’s. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Saturday. There will be no service or visitation on Saturday at High’s.
