McMinnville resident and Elk City, OK native Charles Arsa LaDonn “Slim” Ingalls, 78, was born Oct. 9, 1946 and died Monday, April 1, 2025 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.

A retired employee of Rockford Textile, he was the son of the late Clarence Henry and Allene Elizabeth Martin Ingalls. Slim was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College, an avid sports fan and of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by fiancée, Nana Jo Mason; maternal grandparents, Charles Comer and Margret Upchurch Martin; paternal uncles, William Ingalls and Arsa Ingalls; paternal aunts, Mabell Ingalls Tunheim, Edith Ingalls Blahauvietz, Ellen Ingalls Erickson, Gladys Ingalls Larson Blaksvedt, Cora Ingalls Ravndalen and Betty Ingalls and cousins, Eltune Erickson and Elvis Erickson.

He is survived by uncle, Charles (Lois) Martin; cousins, Carolyn Martin (Charlie) Brewer, Larry Blahauvietz, Keith Larson, Lenay Blahauvietz Tieman, Keven Larson, Ellette Erickson Kostrzewski, Kendall Larson, Ethel Erickson, Kyle Larson, Milo Ravndalen, Mark Ravndalen and Merlin Ravndalen and favorite caregiver, Tammy Richardson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Elbert Smith, Jay Baker and Brandon Lowry to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at High’s Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to M.A.D.D. or Don “Slim” Ingalls Scholarship Fund.
