Mr. Christopher “Chris” Ray Phillips, 58, of McMinnville passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. He was born on June 10, 1966 in Decatur, Ga., was an employee of Bridgestone Tires, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was of the Methodist faith. Chris was a fishing enthusiast, loved history, and participated in re-enactments. He enjoyed learning everything he could about the Civil War and Revolutionary battles, and he was active in seeking out family genealogy. He was a proud member of the Sons of the Confederacy.
