Beersheba Springs resident and Harrisburg, Penn. native Dale Walter Zuna, 82, was born March 26, 1942 and died June 28, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness. 

A veteran of the United States Navy, retired employee of Boone Drug in Boone, N.C. and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Walter William and Alma Eilene Unangst Zuna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. 

He was married to Donna Zuna of Beersheba Springs on March 29, 1963. In addition to his wife, Mr. Zuna is survived by three daughters; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters in Christ. 

Per Mr. Zuna’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 1 at Coalmont Church of Christ.
