Mr. Dan Fults, 91, of Morrison, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025. He was born on July 4, 1933 in Warren County, was a steel worker with Great Lake Steel in Ecorse, Mich., and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed carpenter work and designed and built the home for him and his wife. He was also a good mechanic. Mr. Fults was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Fults and Alkie Scott Fults; brothers, Jesse Fults and Gordon Fults; sisters, Bobbie Jane Turner and Dorothy Jean Fults; and sons, Thomas Wayne Bickford and Anthony “Tony” Edwin Bickford.
Dan is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Fults; sister-in-law, Linda Fults; brother-in-law, Clyde Holland; great friends, Eric and Chris Steves; nieces and nephews, Ann Webster, J.C. Qualls, Denise Hennessee, Judy Goodson, Melvin Fults, Don Fults and Chris Fults; special great niece, Lindsey Lance as well as several other great nieces and great nephews, close family friends and a wonderful church family.
The funeral service for Dan Fults is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tom Fittis will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
