McMinnville resident and Warren County native Doris Fay Walling Erwin, 85, was born May 9, 1931 and died June 19 in Chattanooga following an extended illness. She was a retired school teacher, member of Westwood Church of Christ where she attended for 30 plus years, and daughter of the late Jay Everette and Mattie Jane Mooneyham Walling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Christine Walling and brother-in-law William Clark.Mrs. Erwin was first and foremost a woman who loved God, all of her family, and especially young children.
