Mrs. Glynda Joyce Stevens, 82, of McMinnville passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at her home. She was born on Sept. 29, 1941 in McMinnville (Dibrell Community), was a member of the Church of Christ, and retired after 46 years as a dental assistant with Hickory Creek Dental Arts. Glynda enjoyed sewing, canning, adult coloring books and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents, George Robert Kirby and Minnie Mae Glenn Kirby; grandson, Phillip Jordan Stevens; sister, Robbie Trainor; and brothers, James Edward Kirby, Sr., Ralph Jennings Kirby and Douglas Clayton Kirby. 

 Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Wallace Stevens; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Glen and Michelle Partin Stevens; grandson, Jason Glen Stevens; and great-granddaughter, Galilea Stevens.

 Graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at Womack Cemetery. Jared Kirby will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Womack Cemetery. Visitation with the Stevens family will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
