Hayden Bradley Jr., 77, of Sparta, passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Born to Hayden and Ellen Bradley on April 26, 1945 in White County, Hayden Bradley Jr. was the oldest son. He attended school in White County and graduated from Tennessee Tech in 1969. After graduation, he served his country in Vietnam from 1969-1970. Hayden was employed by the U.S. Farmers Home Administration as a loan officer and later as a supervisor, and he retired after 42 years.
He married the love of his life, Linda Wilmoth, Nov. 21, 1989. She passed Aug. 5, 2003.
Surviving Hayden are children, Cindy-Lou Oliver (Joe), the youngest and his caregiver Leon Kirkpatrick, Lindy Dalton (Mike), Lisa Conners (John), and Rhonda Bolin (Dwayne); grandchildren, Luke, Jacob, Danielle, Shelby, Patrick, Courtney, Chad, Ashley, Will, Chelsea, Jeremiah, Raven, Brandy and Trinity; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Bradley (Kay); brother-in-law, Arlie Montgomery; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, special of whom were Loyce Holcomb, Gary Howard and Roscoe Mays.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Scott McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville community with full military honors provided by the Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 5- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers to serve are Leon Kirkpatrick, Will Kirkpatrick, Dwayne Bolin, Chad Carr, David Vance, Mike Dalton, John Young and Ethan Guy.
