McMinnville resident and White County native Judy Ann Stinson, 78, was born July 19, 1944 and died May 7, 2023 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Judy was the retired owner of Diamond Jewelry Company, attended Westwood Church of Christ and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Lee and Jean Gunnels Cole. She was married to Moody Stinson on Sept. 21, 1963 who preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 2021. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Allie Stinson.
Mrs. Stinson is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Teresa Stinson, David and Melanie Stinson and Shawn Stinson, all of McMinnville; three grandsons, Cole (Christina) Stinson of Maryville and Alex Stinson and Abram Stinson, both of McMinnville; sister, Janie Webb (Sonny) of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Thomas Cole (Dawn) of Murfreesboro and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, May 10, in High’s Chapel with Jason Cripps officiating. Burial will follow at Faulkner Cemetery at Pike Hill in Warren County. Visitation was held Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Magness Library.
