McMinnville resident and Dunlap native Karen Sue Watson Carden, 73, was born Aug. 5, 1951 and died Jan. 9, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. A former teacher at Dibrell Elementary School, she was the daughter of the late Edd Lee and Mildred Inez Harmon Watson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edd Watson, Jr.
