McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lila Mae Byars, 95, was born Nov. 20, 1916 and died May 21 at her son’s residence in Knoxville following a brief illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Lena Smith. She was married to Woodrow Byars, who preceded her in death in 1984.
