Louis Edwin “Skip” Keel Jr., 48, of McMinnville died Sunday, March 18, at River Park Hospital.He was born June 20, 1963, in Cannon County and was a founder and mechanic with McMinnville Lawn and Garden Center, and a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Keel was preceded in death by his mother, Syble Horn Madewell Pack.Survivors include his wife Sharon Keel, father Louis Edwin “Corky” Keel Sr., and wife Thetis, sons Coty Keel, Tyrus Keel, and Steffen Cameron, stepchildren Joshua (Heather) Holt, Jeremy (Laurie) Holt, and Jessica (Shane) Christie, sister Sandra Gunter Grooms and husband Earl; brother, Scottie Keel and wife, Margia, stepgrandchildren, Riley Cameron, Hunter Holt, Jaylan Smith and Matthew Smith.Funeral service is 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harry Green will officiate.
