Robert “Bobby” Hayes Bogle, 82

McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Robert “Bobby” Hayes Bogle, 82, was born Aug. 28, 1940 and died Nov. 26, 2022 at his residence following a brief illness.           

A retired U.S Army veteran, he was retired from Arnold Engineering and Development Center and a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Allen and Evelyn Jones Bogle.  He was married to Diane Bogle of McMinnville on Aug. 14, 1971.

In addition to his wife of 51 years, Mr. Bogle is survived by brothers, William “Denny” (Carol) Bogle of Manchester and James L. “Jimmy” Bogle of Centerville; sister, Mary Lou Eaton of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at Mt. View Cemetery, McMinnville with Doug Benningfield officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Hickory Valley Baptist Church.

Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
