Roy Brown Pack, 79, of McMinnville passed from this life on Sunday, Jan. 23, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Roy was born Monday, Sept. 7, 1942 in Spencer, the son of the late George Pack and the late Mary Moore Pack. Roy is survived by his wife Barbara Jones Pack, two sons Roy Michael Pack and Tracy Wade Pack and wife Roxanne, two daughters, Patsy Ann Pack and Misty Dawn Pack, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three brothers Willie Fred Pack, George Monroe Pack, and Raymond Harold Pack, three sisters, Rose V. McReynolds, Mary Lou Williamson, and Audrey Taylor, brother-in-law Alex Jones and wife Helen, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his three sisters Sarah Marie Starkey, Georgia Ann Pack, and Mossie M. Pack.

Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jamie Pack officiating. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome. com. Gardens of Memory is in charge of arrangements.
