Mrs. Sepal Marie Lance Scott Taylor, better known as ‘Ms. Goodie,' 92, of McMinnville, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 05, 2024 at her residence. She was born on October 05, 1931 to Herman Lance and Stella Mae Hullett Lance. She was raised in Jacksboro and Centertown community. She was married to Okley Scott on Oct. 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1977. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Leon Tootin Lance, son Herman Ray Scott who died on Sept. 14, 2003, and grandchild Okley Scott.
