McMinnville resident and Drumright, Okla., native Thomas Wayne Lee, 77, was born July 17, 1938 and died Nov. 23 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A truck driver with ABF and a member of Derby Baptist Church in Derby, Ms., he was the son of the late Paul Lee and Alta Chambers Lee Fiddler. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by stepfather, Roy Fiddler; and two brothers, Howard Ray Lee and John Lee.He was married May 20, 1963 to Karen Strader Lee of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Robert McGranaghan of McMinnville; son William Justin Lee of Watford City, N.D.; two granddaughters and spouses, Heather and Jason Marsalis and Tiffaney and Christopher Martinez; grandson, Wyatt Lee; four great-grandchildren, Wesley Martinez, Taylor Martinez, Carlisle Marsalis and Bentley Marsalis; sister-in-law, Margaret Lee of Nowata, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews also survive.A memorial service with celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bethel Hill Baptist Church with Phillip Summerford officiating.

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Emma Jean Hoover, age 96, was born March 10, 1929 and died March 13, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Findlay and member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Bryan Jennings and Myrtle Farless Nelson. She was married Nov. 29, 1947 to Harold Ross Hoover who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2025. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, J.B. Nelson, Wallace Nelson, Wesley Nelson, Everett Nelson and Leslie Nelson and sisters, Thelma Melton, Geraldine Webb and Ruth Taylor.
