Strange how all of us walk through gates every day and think nothing about it. Most often, we picture a big iron or metal gate entering a courtyard or garden. However, several definitions are common to us, but probably the most familiar is an opening in a wall or a fence. This is one of those words in our vocabulary which is easily used as a noun or a verb, such as control with a gate. One aspect of gates we are extremely fortunate to maintain are the gates at the Warren County Fair, where the openings exist, but there are no pay-for-admission gates.
