Sports can be a funny thing. Some people would say the emotional and financial investment many put into sports is just silly. After all, they would say, it’s just a game. And yes, if you think about it, it’s kind of ridiculous that so many adults let their mood be affected for a solid week or more by whether a bunch of 19 or 20 year olds win a game.
