Upon consideration of the Motion of Petitioners for leave to effect service of process upon Respondent, CHAD LATIER WELTERS, by publication, and after a review of the record, the Court is of the opinion that the whereabouts of the said Respondent cannot by ascertained and that service by publication pursuant to T.C.A. ¤ 21-1-203 is appropriate. It is, therefore,

ORDERED that publication be made for four (4) consecutive weeks as required by law, and that an abbreviated notice shall appear in the Southern Standard, a newspaper published weekly in McMinnville, Tennessee, Warren County, requiring the Respondant, CHAD LATIER WELTERS to serve upon Steve R. Roller, attorney for plaintiff,  whose address is 101 W. Main Street, 2nd Floor, Citizens Tri-County Bank Building, McMinnville, TN, 37110 an answer to the Petition for Termination of Parental Rights and for Adoption of Related Minor served upon him by this publication; said answer to be filed on or before thirty (30) days after the date of the last publication of this notice. In the event Respondent fails to do so, a judgment by default may be taken against him for the relief demanded in the pleadings and the matter set for hearing on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.
