Ian DeArmond was a big help for MFD last year in an eight-run win in the Battle of the Badges softball game. DeArmond plans on being back on the diamond for the fire department this Thursday when the local rivalry resumes play.
A friendly local rivalry will resume this Friday at Milner Recreation Center. The McMinnville Police Department and McMinnville Fire Department will be facing off in the third annual Battle of the Badges softball game Aug. 1.
