The new year has been good to Van Buren County. The Eagles came out of the holidays scorching hot, sweeping Sequatchie County, Monterey and Whitwell. Eli Scoggins was the catalyst to victory over the Indians, scoring a team-high 19 points as Van Buren County completed a sweep of Sequatchie County. Callyn Sullivan and Cason Shadrick added 15 points each, with all of Shadrick's points coming from downtown.
