Gary Steele Karate Studio recently promoted some of their top ranking karate students to the ranks of Black Belt. Those earning Black Belt or higher degree Black Belt are as follows: Shawn Green – 6th Degree Black Belt, Lee Don Myers – 3rd Degree Black Belt, Tim Pullon - 1st Degree Black Belt, Heagan Caldwell - 1st Degree Black Belt, Victoria Byars - 1st Degree Black Belt, Mary Alice Moore – Youth Black Belt 1st Degree, Level 1, Paul David Byars - Youth Black Belt 1st Degree, Level 2, Benji Smith - Youth Black Belt 1st Degree, Level 2, Kachska Slatton - Youth Black Belt 1st Degree, Level 3 and Calvin Bogle - Youth Black Belt 1st Degree, Level 5.

GSKS also named its Students of the year: Caleb Mackie (Muai Thai), Carly Byars (Children’s Jiu Jitsu), Cole Stickler (Adult Jiu Jitsu), Christopher Cable (Lil drag Karate), Seth Allen West (Children Karate), Carlee Priest (Jr. Karate), Tim Pullon (Adult Karate), Kenny Dillard (Asst. Instructor), Chris Hutcheson (Instructor).
