Being at home felt like the perfect remedy after a slow start for the WCMS teams, but Shelbyville wasn't ready to play the role of nice guest. The Eagles spoiled the home debut for the 7-8 grade Pioneers and Lady Pioneers Monday, sweeping a pair of CTC battles. Shelbyville's girls were able to rally in the fourth for a 38-35 victory, while the Eagles used a big second-half push to top the Pioneers 48-32.
