Keeping Spring Hill on the schedule will be a must for Warren County this offseason. The Raiders seem to bring out the best in the Lady Pioneers.

Warren County (9-20) defeated Spring Hill 46-33 at home to open District 9-4A tourney play Monday, punching its ticket to the region tournament in the process. It was the third time the Lady Pioneers beat the Raiders this year, all coming in impressive fashion.

Spring Hill, a team moving out of the district next year, was able to run out of an early 11-2 deficit by starting out hot from deep, but the Lady Pioneers were able to  send the Raiders home for good by the end of the night.

A flourish to end the third quarter helped Warren County put the game away. The Lady Pioneers were up 22-18 at halftime, but pushed its lead to 16 going into the fourth after Aubrey Oleksik hit back-to-back lefty layups in the final minute of the third quarter. Trinity Reynolds added the dagger, rattling home a 28-footer to beat the buzzer and secure the team's program fourth region bid in five years.

Warren County will continue its postseason run Saturday when it faces Coffee County in the 9-4A semifinals. Tip-off in Shelbyville is set for 6 p.m.
