Registration open for youth football

Youth football is holding sign-ups starting in March. The league, which will be for ages 5-12 and hopes to have three tackle teams and one flag squad that will travel like in years past, will begin holding registration on Saturday, March 11. Registration will also be held on March 18, March 25 and the final day will be Saturday, April 1. Sign-ups will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day at Warren County High School.

Football registration will cost $120 for one child, while families wishing to register more than one kid will be charged $100 for each additional child.  The fee includes the cost for equipment, plus a jersey and pants the player will keep.

Cheerleaders may register for $150, with the cost of uniforms, pom pom, shoes and bow included (and the cheerleaders will be able to keep their uniforms as well).

The league will also be looking for coaches and volunteers on registration days, so anybody looking to help out with the future gridiron stars in Warren County should make their way to WCHS on one of the sign-up dates in March.
