Trinity Reynolds earned all-district honors for a standout junior campaign.

Trinity Reynolds has been an ascending star for the Lady Pioneers for the last two seasons. Now, the lethal outside shooter has some hardware to recognize all her hard work.

Reynolds was named All-District 9-4A by district coaches last week, cementing her status as one of the top players in the area. It comes after the junior stepped into a primary scoring role this year, especially in January once Warren County began its district slate.

In district games, Reynolds averaged 10.3 points per game and seemed to step up her play even more in victories. She had 11 points in each of the team's wins over Columbia and also dropped 14 points in a big home win over Spring Hill in the regular season.

Reynolds' career-best game came in a losing effort at Shelbyville when she scored 20 points.

Along with being the team's top option from deep, Reynolds showed added aggression getting to the basket, put on a show with her floaters in the midrange and ranked among team leaders in assists, steals and rebounds as well.

Reynolds and the Lady Pioneers will be back in action Saturday in the District 9-4A tournament in Shelbyville.
