Lauren Slatton's list of accolades are almost getting too long to mention. The state champion Lady Pioneer added another one Wednesday, becoming the first female golfer in decades to sign a D-1 scholarship. Slatton made her pledge to UAB, where she will begin her college golfing career in 2025. She made the commitment in front of family and friends at WCHS, where she has become a golfing legend.
