It hasn't taken long for a trend to develop for the Van Buren County girls basketball team. The Eaglettes get stronger as game wears on, but slow starts have hampered the squad through one week. Van Buren County was able to rally out of a double-digit hole in Tuesday's 67-52 home win over Oakdale, but couldn't overcome a large deficit late in a 61-55 loss at Watertown Thursday.
