Emma Woodlee didn’t need long to cement her legacy at WCHS. The freshman cross country star is now the fastest woman in the 5K in school history. Woodlee broke the school record Thursday when the team traveled to Chattanooga to take part in the Woodland Park meet. Woodlee, who finished 10th out of 100 runners, completed the course in 22:00.67, eclipsing the previous top mark set by Emma Randall in 2021 (22:20).
