Bethel Hill Baptist Church will be holding vacation Bible school July 26th through the 28th from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for children aged 3-18 years. Meals are provided each night. Bethel Hill Baptist Church is located at 1137 W Green Hill Road.

UCDD’s Relative Caregiver Program is set to host a support group at the Milner Recreation Center’s Jungle Gym/pavilion on July 26 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Blood Assurance will be holding a blood drive on July 28 at Main Street Live from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each donor will receive a special summer-themed T-shirt while supplies last. Sign-ups can be done online at bloodassurance.org/mainstreetlive728. Those with questions may call 931-506-5335.

Dayspring Community Church located at 4295 Smithville Hwy. is hosting a Back to School Celebration on July 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Games, food, bounce houses and prizes will be offered during the event. 

Smyrna Cemetery’s Decoration Day will be Sat., July 29. Special dinner plates of hamburger steak, chicken strips or BBQ will be offered. All are invited to attend. Donations can be mailed to Smyrna Cemeteries, INC C/O Bo Jennings at 74 Cobbs Lane, McMinnville, TN 37110.

Morrison Ruritan will be taking registrations for its fall softball league on July 29 at the Morrison Ruritan building located at 121 West Maple St. in Morrison from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is $40 and sponsorship fees are $200. The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold its commodities distribution for Warren County on August 3 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Northside Baptist Church. Sign-up will be available at the distribution site.

Extension Office. Completed forms and a $25 registration fee without a picture or a $35 registration fee with a picture for the Southern Standard.
