The Warren County Board of Education pulled the plug on students’ personal electronics just prior to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. During its June meeting, the board unanimously voted on second read to pass the “Prohibition of Possession and Use of Personal Electronic Devices,” a policy banning all students from possessing any type of phone or personal communication device that is turned on or in visible/audible use at any time during the regular school day.
