A local man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested for three additional drug-related charges earlier this month.

On March 11 at approximately noon, a report prepared by Investigator Justin Colwell states Anthony Steven Alley was observed by Warren County SWAT exiting a trailer residence within Warren County and walking into a barn. At this time, SWAT approached Alley and placed him into custody for outstanding indictments out of the Warren County Grand Jury.

In 2019, Alley entered guilty pleas for two counts of selling meth and one count of evading arrest in a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and required to serve 60%, or nine years, of his time before being eligible for parole. The indictments were handed down for incidents which took place in Nov. 2017 when Alley allegedly delivered more than 26 grams of meth on one occasion and more the .5 grams on another.

During a search of his person in his latest apprehension, Colwell reports the SWAT team recovered approximately $9,000 in cash, a smartphone and a small book which appeared to be a drug ledger. A search warrant was requested and executed on his property and, at around 1:15 p.m.

Alleged findings during the course of the search included an orange bong, $320 in cash, 113 grams of white crystal substance in a dresser, a small Tupperware bowl with approximately one gram of white crystal substance, a black bag containing roughly 265 grams of white crystal substance, a baggie with baby powder, a bag with a green leafy substance determined to be marijuana, a small twist bag of about one gram of white powder identified as cocaine, digital scales, additional baggies, a meth pipe and a drug ledger in a nightstand.

Alley was charged with manufacturing/delivery/sale/possession over 300 grams, simple possession of cocaine, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. His bail was set at $50,000 for each charge.
