A local man accused of committing assault with a machete will stand trial for his allegations in Warren County Circuit Court. Michael Darnell Burch, 39, was bound over by the Warren County Grand Jury during its October session Friday, facing two counts of aggravated assault for allegedly striking Dalton Holton in the side of the head with a machete during an altercation on Aug. 6.
