Cassell Davis, executive director for the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), spoke to the County Commission at its meeting Monday night to explain why the CAC needs funds from the victim’s assessment/assistance fund. At a previous meeting, it was suggested to give half of the funds to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
