Candidates vying for a spot on the McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen offered their opinions on the biggest issues facing our city Monday night, as well as steps they’ll take if elected or returned to office. Four of the five aldermanic candidates – incumbents Sally Brock, Stacey Harvey and Rachel Hoover Kirby – along with newcomer Kara Youngblood were in attendance at the political forum, presented by the Southern Standard and WCPI-91.3 FM and held at the Warren County Administrative Building. Candidates were presented with a series of questions from co-moderators Bill Zechman and David Plazas regarding local housing, tourism development, budgeting and other issues facing city residents.
