Brian Ferguson portrays Frollo in the Dream Reality Group production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” which has three shows this weekend at the Park Theater.

After wowing audiences on opening weekend “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” returns to the Park Theater this weekend with three shows.

The musical will run Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m., and again Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This comes after a highly acclaimed first weekend that drew rave reviews.

“It’s absolutely the most professionally done show we’ve had at the Park Theater,” said Sandra Haynes, a longtime supporter who has seen every production from Dream Reality Group. “I was with a group of people last night who all saw the show and they just loved it. One of the women said it was as good as anything she’s seen at TPAC and she has season tickets.”

The musical follows the story of Quasimodo, the famous hunchback who toils in the bell tower of Notre Dame Cathedral. Quasimodo is ugly in body, which leads to ridicule and abuse. But he’s tender in heart, a feature that’s noticed by the enchanting gypsy Esmeralda.

“It’s a beautiful story and the set is absolutely amazing,” said Haynes.

It’s the 12th show at the Park Theater for Logan Taylor, founder of Dream Reality Group. He’s been the driving force behind the organization’s first-rate productions that have included shows like “Tarzan,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Grease.”

Said Taylor, “Audiences were just blown away at this show this first weekend and we want everyone to get a chance to see this. From top to bottom, I believe this is the best production we’ve ever done and everyone who sees it is going to be well pleased.”

The cast includes Elijah Hernandez as Quasimodo, Alexis Phillips as Esmeralda, Christian Weeter as Phoebus, Brian Ferguson as Frollo, Kaylee Moore as Florika, and Richard Maneiro as Father Dupin.
