Hot on the holiday heels of Saturday's Flip the Switch event, Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville will present its 39th Christmas in the Park in downtown McMinnville on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 6 - 8 p.m.

The free event will offer a variety of activities including free skating at McMinnville on Ice - the synthetic skating rink, Santa Claus, ornament crafts and much more. New to this year's event will be a scavenger hunt for all children under 12.

The WCHS Pioneerettes, the WCMS Dance Team, McMinnville Jiu Jitsu and Paula's Dance will be performing.

"We will have our downtown businesses and non-downtown businesses participating," said Junior Auxiliary's Tammy Sliger. "They will be handing out goodies to all the children. JA members will be handing out brochures and bags for children to hold their treats in. We are so excited and we're looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday night."

Chairs for this year's event are Holly Palombo and Gabi Ledbetter.
