The City of McMinnville has officially announced the return of its annual Easter egg hunt.

On April 19, egg hunts will be hosted across several different age groups and in two different locations on the Milner Recreation Center. Children ages newborn to 14 years are accepted for the hunt with several groups crafted to make the process fair and fun for participants.

The Hoover-Millraney Field will be set up for ages newborn through four years, with newborn to 18 months having their hunt at 9 a.m., 19 months to two years at 10:45 a.m. and ages three to four will follow at noon.

At the Jungle Jym, the egg hunts for children ages eight to ten begin at 9 a.m., followed by ages 11 to 14 at 10:45 p.m. and ages five to seven at noon.

In years past, the eggs were empty and all participants were given treat bags at the end, but this year’s eggs will be prefilled with goodies. The cost to enter the egg hunt is $3 per child and registration has begun. To register, go to https://bit.ly/pryouthreg or apply in-person at the Milner Center. Registration for the event is open until April 17 and all questions should be directed to the facility at (931) 473-1212.
