Crisp Springs crash

Rob Nunley photo The Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Old Nashville Highway and Crisp Springs Rd. Friday afternoon. Jerry Messick was traveling southbound (toward Old Shelbyville Rd.) in a Nissan Altima, and as he began to cross Old Nashville Highway, he reportedly entered the path of a Chevrolet Equinox, which was traveling toward Centertown, driven by Thomas Gardner. Luke Nisbett of the WCSO said both were wearing their seatbelts. No significant injuries were reported. No citations had been filed as of press time.
