A New Year’s Day fire gutted a structure just outside downtown McMinnville. According to a report released by the McMinnville Fire Department, firefighters responded to a working structure fire at 102 Edgefield St., just off W. Colville in the shadow of the downtown water tower, at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
