The cuteness overload surrounding the Warren County A&L Fair Baby Show will take place at a new time this year on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Sunday is a change from the customary Wednesday afternoon time slot for the baby show.

“The Fair Board requested we make that change,” said Angela Brock, one of the event organizers. “Judging begins at 2:30 p.m. The time has been pushed ahead an hour. It was at 3:30 p.m.”

Everything else remains unchanged. 

Applications are currently available for the American Association of University of Women 2022 Baby Show at the Southern Standard, your source for local news. 

AAUW holds the event annually and parents of beautiful little girls and handsome young boys from all over Warren County are urged to enter now. No late applications will be accepted for the opportunity to show off the cutest members of our community. 

Contestants are eligible to win a crown, trophy and the official title of being winner of the prestigious Fair Baby Show.

The age range for the baby show is 6 to 48 months.

Applications are also available at Ashley’s Attic, Evelyn Taylor Avenue, Red Door Boutique, Red Door Kids, Trendy Truck Too, Warren County Extension Office, Upton’s Bridal and Formal Boutique, and Intrigue.

Photographs must be billfold size or larger for publication in the newspaper. Clearly print the child’s name, age in months, and parents name on the back of the picture. Names that are hard to decipher could be printed incorrectly in the newspaper.

Completed forms and a $30 registration fee must be mailed to AAUW, P.O. Box 7053, McMinnville, TN 37111 and postmarked no later than Aug. 29. Registration forms can also be submitted in person at Caney Fork Electric Cooperative’s auditorium on Aug. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m., or on Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
