Kaelin C. Jackson, a Warren County High School graduate of the class of 2015, was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant on May 2.
SSgt Jackson is with the 39th Brigade Engineer Battalion, HHC Bullstrike & 101st Screaming Eagles Air Division. He is a veteran of the Afghanistan War (2018-2019) and recently returned from a nine-month deployment with the 101st Screaming Eagles out of Fort Campbell, Ky., to Romania (Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base Romania) on the edge of NATO territory near the Ukraine – Russia war, serving from June 2022 until March 2023.
SSgt Jackson attends Liberty University part-time where he earned a spot on the Dean’s List. He is the son of Randall and Marcie Dunn and the brother of Jennifer Eash, Brittany Cox, Austin Dunn (U.S. Air Force) and Christian Dunn.
